There are 2 great events taking place in the Tasting Room during November that we know you’ll want to make note of!!
First up, is our annual Chili Cook Off and fundraiser supporting the Alameda County Food Bank! We’ve got 8 teams lined up to vie for Livermore’s Favorite Chili and we need your help in deciding which chili is worthy of such a dubious title.
Come join the fun on Saturday November 4! We’ll be tasting some chili and drinking your favorite beer all while supporting the Alameda County Food Bank. To get your ‘tasting kit’ all you need to do is bring one non-perishable food item per person to the tasting room between 1-4 pm (or until the chili runs out). We’ll be crowning our winner at 4:15 pm.
Then on Friday November 24 is our Annual Release of our Russian Hill Imperial Stout 2017!! You’ve been watching it age, now is the time to come taste our Bourbon barrel aged Imperial Stout. But that’s not all. . . we will also have a vertical tasting of the last 3 years for comparison. As you know, our Russian Hill Imperial Stout is the only beer we bottle so we’ll have those for sale too! The general public can purchase 3 bottles so you’ll be able to enjoy one now and let the others keep on aging. . .
This is also the last Brewzza Palooza for 2017! We’re welcoming Liberation Foods BBQ to the tasting room for the first time. They’ll be serving beginning at 1 pm. Our musical entertainment will be everyone’s favorite, Better Days who will be performing from 4:30-7:30 pm.
As if that isn’t enough. . . We will also release a very small batch of the Fyrst RIPA that has been aged in Bourbon barrels that were used to age Vermont Maple Syrup! Now that sounds delicious, don’t you think??
